MTA加碼 地鐵巴士全漲 【世界日報╱本報綜合二十三日電訊報導】

 

在政界人士和捷運乘客不滿聲中，大都會運輸署(MTA)23日上午在紐約市曼哈坦總部，公布了為彌補巨額赤字漲價計畫的新細節。MTA不僅要求巴士、地鐵票價和橋樑、隧道通行費自明年7月開始上漲8%，還擬定後續快速加價，自2011年1月起，把前述收費再調漲5%，使18個月的累計漲幅達到13%。

        MTA在上午的會議中向理事會提出2009會計年度初步預算，並正式提出漲價計畫。MTA毫不隱瞞它自九一一後經濟不景氣以來最差的財務狀況，赤字已增加到接近10億元。它說，燃料成本增加二億元，再加上來自房地產交易的財源減少，它不得不漲價以增加營收。

6/22匆匆出發,6/22匆匆到達,6/23匆匆參加Orientation,又匆匆搬進宿舍,來不及感受紐約的脈動,呼吸藝術的氣息,就這麼過了30天;對紐約的印象只有在黑呼呼的隧道中呼嘯駛過的G train / Q train / Line 7,手中握著最熟悉的東西是MTA card, 味覺也鈍化到只認得脫脂牛奶+Cereal / 漢堡 / 泡麵的程度。
On Mondays and Wednesdays, for Parsons drafting course,I draw a dull line on map between Dekalb Ave. - Union Square - Flatbush - Myrtle Ave. which shapes a deformed triangle just like the graphic of  the record of my getting-up-time, up and down, dawn to midnight .On other weekdays, I'm stuck at Pratt campus for CEP.   

Maybe things don't go so bad,I visited QMA, MoMA and Metropolitan Museum already. And I know where I can buy "Bubble Tea" and "Cha-shiu pork" although the bubble tea in Ten-Ren costs amazing $3.  I hope I could find the proper accomodation before the end of the week otherwise....I have to learn what the NY  homeless is good at....haha.
